Analyzing my theme
As I'm going for a steam punk-like style game play I'm confident that old European architectures will fit. The dull color yet elegant designs is perfect to be with innovative and advanced technology creating a beautiful contrast of old and new.

My Map Level Design
Our tutor told us to do our map level design by blocking: using power of 2 cubes to make our map. It is like in drawing where you need to draft it first but instead of using pen or pencil I use cubes.
I already know the architectural theme/style I'm going for so its not a problem designing my map.
Here is my blocked map:

Starting our new lesson (Map level design)
Our tutor told us to make a map level of our liking but we also need to add our old project (splash damage) into it.
My Map Design
After searching the net for an hour to find the suitable theme for me, I found it. I chose Old European architectures; the elegant designs with a slight hint of dullness is exactly the theme I want. I'm going for an old post-prominent town that is still striving with a lot of stone buildings.

New Project (UDK Level)
After we finished our Splash Damage Level last year we now need to create a level and put out splash damage model in it.

- Our Splash Damage project last year
After I finished this I felt quite happy not only because it is my first finished 3D Model but also because it showcased the quality of my texturing which is good enough for me as I'm just a beginner.
I showed this to my peers and I got mixed reviews: most said it is nice, not to bad for a start, and that I got an easy technique in creating this. But some said my texturing and modelling accuracy needs a bit more work because some are overlapping each other and creating a stuttering effect. I am going to use their reviews to improve my work.
